Most Memorable Moment?

What's your most memorable moment on HOTD? Any scene that latches to that part of the brain where important knowledge is supposed to be stored. Here's my favorite moments on HOTD both on the anime/OVA and on the manga as well.

Of course one of my favorite scenes is where Takashi, and us viewers too, first met Saeko in a Naked Apron. I can't stress enough how much HOTD has given me a Naked Apron fetish. Also the Takashi rescue scene with the apron and the badassery as well as a really good background music was most certainly epic. The background music btw is called "fuss fuzz" go check it out!

This scene I really like. Maybe it's just because I also wanna be able to sleep with 2 extremely hot chicks. One in a Naked Apron no less....

I can never get tired of that face, it was my desktop wallpaper for quite some time too. As for the shrine scene I think had a really memorable atmosphere as you wait anxiously for Takashi and Saeko to kiss.

As for the OVA besides the SaekoxTakashi kiss scene I could never get bored to see Hirano getting high, it's just funny as hell. LOVE AND PEACE BITCHES YEAAAAAA~

Why You Should Read the Manga

I know a lot of people who enjoy Japanese series only through animes and while there is nothing wrong with that you should also check the manga every now and again.

Especially in HOTD's case, now I was in love with Saeko before the anime even started (hipster alert) and I just think it's a shame for those who only watched the anime and didn't read the manga.

For one thing the manga is much less full of fanservice, don't know if that maybe bad for some of you people lol, but seriously a boob bounce every 2-3 minutes? That's kinda disturbing even for me during the anime. Don't you worry your little heads though because the manga is still ecchi, this is Shouji Satou we're talking about here.

Second the plot is less rushed in the manga, believe it or not i also read HOTD for the plot and I mean the actual story plot. In the manga there are a few difference in scenes like Saeko and Takashi were separated from the group after the escape from Takagi estate. Besides this the conversations between characters are much more detailed and interesting instead of the routine 2 minute boob bounce.

Third regarding the voices of the characters, I personally don't hate the voices in the anime but i think it's much more interesting to imagine what the characters actually sound like. In my imagination Hirano has a deeper and manlier voice for example.

Also in the manga there weren't any crazy shit like the "Saeko Bullet through Cleavage Scene" I mean WTF? Seriously? This just makes the series look pathetic to watch.... But oh well if the producers decided it was okay to put that scene in.....

Last is Saeko in the Naked Apron looks more sexy in the manga to me :3

Now then if you haven't read the manga yet please do so immediately, it is equally and may be more interesting than the anime is.

HOTD OVA Impressions

Second of the consecutive posts,
This time I'm gonna talk about the OVA. While I will certainly love anything HOTD related I have mixed feelings of the OVA. It fulfills its duty as an OVA with a beach setting, bikinis every where, and loads of fan service (as though the anime didn't have enough) but I felt that it was lacking something epic.

The plot itself is really simple and feels like it was lazy writing done by the producers, but hey that's just my opinion and I still liked the OVA. Now here's my impressions:

1. I didn't like the fact that Takashi was useless in the whole OVA, I mean Takashi is awesome! why would you just make him wear a tight ass speedo and not let him do shit.

2.TITS.......

3. Even though I enjoyed the OVA I had expected something like a more detailed background story of each of the HOTD cast, or even make the scene from the extra manga chapter where Takashi talks with his friend (forgot the name) about the hottest girls in their school.

4.Not enough zombies.

5.Saeko kiss! Holyshitohmygodaskjgalsfkgcbalsdhasodasdhgjhdsaajdgasjld...... And even though it was just the weed talking it still counts for us fans :3

6.Quite the interesting twist on the end, salute Takashi for surviving 4 zombies during a wet dream *salute*

7. And seriously..... HOLY TIATS O.o

HOTD Secret box

Hello once again HOTD fans,
Now at the moment apparently i have to post a total of 15 posts in this blog in order for me to pass my school blog project. So get ready for 13 consecutive posts of HOTD.

We are now here to talk about the HOTD Secret Box, what is this secret box you ask? and what's so secret about it? Well nothing is secret about it, but the secret box is an HOTD collectible item that any fan would surely like to have.

The box itself contains a 72 page Manga Anthology with 7 colored illustrations and random doujins featurng the HOTD cast. Other than the Anthology you get 3 extra items, and these items are what you're really after.

First on the list you'll get one of those otaku ero-pillow case featuring Rei Miyamoto, one side is fairly normal and on the other side BOOM TITS! It is an ero-pillow after all.  

Second you'll get a bus pass holder featuring Saya Takagi, but there's a catch. It's a bukkake pass holder, as in there'll be "mysterious" white liquid all over the pass holder. I don't even know why this is necessary but its funny as hell.

Third and my favorite of them all you'll get a Saeko Busujima Oppai Mouse Pad. Enough said.....              

Now weather or not you should get this is certainly questionable, but myself as a hardcore HOTD fan is well aiming for it in the future :3

HOTD Figures :3

Hiya HOTD fans,
I haven't really posted anything in a while and as I am typing this post it has been a looooooooooooong time since HOTD, either manga or anime, got an update. Well there was that one chapter revealing Rei's dad, but still nothing after that? Sad fans are sad :c

To be fair Shouji Satou-san (the man blessed by god to make HOTD) has a lot of projects (other mangas and hentais) so let us all CONTINUE to be patient.

Anyways since there are no new content on the manga or anime itself let's talk about merchandise!
I'm sure all of you fans know about the infamous HOTD figures that has been made. You could choose from a selection of female characters such as Saeko, Saya, Rei, and the Tit-tanic Shizuka sensei.


After two hard years of searching I am a proud owner of a Saeko figure, best money I've ever spent :3


The boobs on this figure are made of squishy material, why? Because Japan that's why. God bless Japan

All these wonderful and rather not safe for work figures are made by the Chara-ani company and for all you true fans out there I really suggest you get at least your favorite character's figure. It's a shame they didn't make figures of the male characters, I would love a kickass Takashi figure or a Hirano figure complete with loads of guns. Well maybe we'll see some in the future.
